I am Ruben van Mansum, a Dutch-New Zealander based in Tokyo, Japan. I am part of Tokyo's small but lively stand up comedy scene, as Japan's only English-language musical comedian, and I also perform in Japanese.
Although I have long been interested in photography, recording and creating content from my comedy performances led me to film-making, design, and motion graphics. Just like with comedy, I believe things can always be made better by listening to an audience and finding the most efficient way from point A to point B.
